Introduction
National Highways Authorities of India (NHAI) has appointed Vishwa Samudra Kannur Expressway Private Limited, as the Concessionaire for the design and built of the 29.948 Km Six Laning of Thaliparambha to Muzhapillangad section of NH-17 (New NH-66) from Ch. 134+650 (existing km 137+900) to Ch. 164+958 (existing Km 170+600) in the State of Kerala on Hybrid annuity Mode under Bharatmala Pariyojna. The entire stretch passes through 12-villages of Kannur district with a length of 29.948 kms. The project road crosses Major River, few minor streams and paddy land. The general terrain along the road is plain with intermittent stretches falling under rolling terrain.
